Info on County's Measure T Steering Committee

The Madera County Transportation Authority is considering a second attempt at a Measure T renewal for the November 2024 ballot. This effort reflects the direction given by residents/voters and will include several important differences from the 2022 effort. The expenditure plan itself will be developed by a citizen-based body made of residents from all parts of the county representing diverse communities and needs.  We are looking for a diverse group of residents, four from each Supervisorial District.

 The citizen-based committee will meet four to five times starting in November 2023 with the goal of developing a new expenditure plan for MCTA Board consideration in the Spring of 2024.  If you are interested in serving on this committee, you can apply online here!
